Marty Kelley
Author / Illustrator

AIE

Children's author and illustrator Marty Kelley brings years of teaching experience to his high energy, fun filled presentations and residencies. Marty is the author and illustrator of the best selling book, Fall Is Not Easy as well as the Ladybug nominated Winter Woes and several other titles. He was the illustrator for the 2005 NH Summer Reading Program. Marty recently left the action packed world of teaching second grade to pursue his writing and art full time. His popular school presentations have kept him very busy and have helped introduce thousands of students to the joys of writing.

Programs offered: Author Visits - A fast, fun presentation that explores the entire process of creating a book. I share revisions, drafts, and original artwork. Artist In Residence Programs - I work in individual classrooms on a topic of the teacherís choice. Residencies are a great way to make writing fun for students AND teachers!

Populations served: Grades 1-8; Teachers

Availability: all areas, year round

Fees: Author Visits: $450 - $1,150/day Residencies - First day - $975; each additional day - $550
