Composer / Theater Artist
Larry Siegel is proud to offer The Verbatim Project to communities, schools, and organizations throughout New England. The Verbatim Project develops unique residencies, ranging from an afternoon workshop to a year-long project, in which participants create and perform original works of music-theater about their own lives and experience. Larry has a national reputation in several fields: as a composer, a director and music
director for live theater and puppet-theater, a mentor, and a performer of traditional New England and Appalachian music. He has created collaborative projects for and with many fine artists, including Peggo and Paul Hodes, Perry Alley Theatre and Edie Clark. In 2005, he released All Go Forward & Back!: a retrospective CD of Verbatim Project songs featuring Pete Sutherland, Patti Casey, Brian Barnes and others. Larry is Artistic Director of Tricinium, a New Hampshire arts service organization whose mission is to incubate, develop, support, and facilitate innovative work in the performing arts, focusing especially on work with a place-based and community focus.
